SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS

Extended abstracts of the contributions to be presented during the Congress will be accepted until 20 March 2023 and will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, a process that will serve as Pre-registration.

The extended abstracts:

must be associated with one of the 4 thematic lines of the Congress,

must be sent in .doc format (with title, author/s, abstract, keywords and thematic line to which it belongs), using the following form:

may not exceed a maximum of 2,000 words (this limit is for the Spanish abstract). The same abstract will be sent translated into English (maximum 2,000 words).

The Congress organisers will notify the main author (until 15 March 2023), as the extended abstracts are evaluated, of the revision of the proposed contribution. Revised and final abstracts will be sent until 10 April via the Congress email address (XVIIIconfibsig2023@gmail.com) indicating all relevant information for their identification.

To consider:

1. There is no limit of works in which the same author can participe.

2. If you are the author of several works, you must fill in a separate form for each one.

3. Even if the full abstract has been submitted and accepted by the Congress organisers, if the registration fee has not been paid, the registration fee will not be effective.

All the contributions to the Congress (the extended abstracts) will be published in a Proceedings Book edited by the University of Extremadura with I.S.B.N. In addition, the most relevant contributions in the opinion of the Scientific Committee will be invited to be adapted to an extended version for the journals GeoFocus and Land, so that their publication can be accelerated, as long as the double-blind evaluation on them is positive.
